The dolphins appear nightly near sunset and there are always herons and egrets willing to share your food. Covered pavilions with built-in barbaque pits, clean restrooms. The beach is great for walking, sunbathing, but not so great for swimming - too much seaweed and rocks. The best spot to end your day!
General Information:
Sunset Beach offers a free monthly concert April through November. Bring lawn chairs and a picnic basket and watch the sun go down to live music. Very casual - bring the kids. Hot dogs, etc. are also sold. See wesite: [--] for dates and times.
